The Veterans Center is here to support you in your pursuit of academic excellence. Our programs and services are available to student Veterans and military-affliated students (dependents or spouses). Academic Support Services

Academic Coaching-- Meet with our academic coach, Chelsea Kies! Chelsea is available to meet one-on-one to help students establish effective learning and study skills. Academic coaching is great resource for students who would like help in creating structure for their academics and creating accountability. Whether you are being proactive or need to get back on track, coaching can help! Please email Chelsea at to schedule an appointment! 

Tutoring Funding-- We never want finances to get in the way of your academic success.  If you would like to use the Academic Success Center's tutoring services, but you are not in a financial position to pay for tutoring, the Veterans Center can help cover that cost. Learn more here.

Educational workshops-- Each semester we will offer an Academic Skills Workshop and Math Bootcamps. These workshops will go over time management skills, study habits, exam prep, and any other educational topics that are of interest to students. The Math bootcamps are before the Fall semester and give students an opportunity to brush up on their math skills. These workshops will show up on our events page as we get closer to the spring term, so keep an eye for information on our events page. 

Math Tutoring-- The Veterans Center works with the Math department to bring free math tutoring to our students. Weekly math tutoring will be held at the Memorial Lutheran Church at 4 pm. Tutoring is held right before the weekly dinner, every week, so click here to find math tutoring dates.
