Can I Use My Educational Benefits Towards the Cost?
Many Veterans are able to use their educational benefits (Post-9/11 GI Bill, etc) to fund their study abroad adventure. To best capitalize on your benefits you have to start planning early and work closely with Study Abroad Office and the Veterans Center Staff to ensure your funding gets applied appropriately. Contact the Study Abroad Office for more information about how to get started.
I Am Approved to Go Abroad. Now What?
Congratulations! Now that you are approved make sure you inform the VA Certifying Team that you will be abroad. If you are on active duty or in ROTC be sure to coordinate with your leadership about any time you might be unavailable.
